Initial reactions and Venkatesh’s acknowledgment

Netflix premiered Rana Naidu last year, and it caused a stir—but for all the wrong reasons. Fans who had grown accustomed to seeing Venkatesh in more family-friendly fare may have found the expletive-heavy Indian remake of Ray Donovan to be a bit much. Although it was entertaining to see the veteran actor flawlessly portray the Dakhni accent and spout profanity every few minutes, viewers who were hoping for a Gopala Gopala performance from the actor did not provide fully positive reviews for the series. The good news is that in an interview with them, Venkatesh acknowledged all of the fan comments and suggestions for Season 2.

While the actor was promoting Saindhav at a Hyderabad college, students began inquiring about the release date of Season 2 of Rana Naidu. The star revealed that his character is not a common man. They've received requests for a sequel from fans all over the world. Some individuals do not hold the same views as the young people who have enjoyed the series and are requesting a sequel. Therefore, they will exercise greater caution this time around while still retaining the signature irreverence of the series. They would like not to cause offence, and nothing bad will happen this time.

Production team and creators

Karan Anshuman wrote the series, Suparn S. Varma directed it, and Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global produced it. Abhay Chopra also served as a producer.
