Netflix has officially greenlit Season 2 of Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh's action crime drama, Rana Naidu, following the success of the first season. They dropped an exciting announcement video that also features Arjun Rampal stepping in as the new, formidable villain.

On Monday, at the Next on Netflix event, the streaming service revealed that Season 2 of Rana Naidu is on the way. The teaser shows Rana Naidu gearing up for one final mission to ensure his family's future, while Surveen is trying to persuade him to step away from the 'fixing' game for good. We also get a sneak peek of Kriti Kharbanda and Arjun Rampal, who play the menacing villain after Rana and holding him captive.

According to Netflix's official description, "Rana Naidu takes on one last job to secure his family’s future before leaving the 'fixing' world behind, but he quickly finds himself caught up in family conflicts and the threat of a dangerous figure from his past."

The OTT platform shared the video with a caption saying, "Now the chaos begins, mamu, because that's how Rana Naidu rolls!" Season 2 of Rana Naidu is set to hit Netflix in 2025, though the specific release date is still under wraps.

Fans couldn't contain their excitement for the upcoming season, filling the comments with enthusiasm. One user exclaimed, "Finally, Rana is back!" while another chimed in, "Rana Daggubati vs Arjun Rampal. That's epic!" A fan also praised Arjun Rampal, saying, "You always light up the screen, Arjun ❤️ Love your work!"

Producer Sunder Aaron from Locomotive Global expressed his excitement, stating, “We’re super excited to have Rana Naidu Season 2 ready to go. We’ve been working on it since we wrapped up Season 1. Rana Naidu is quite the character

Rana Naidu is an action-packed crime drama helmed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma. It's based on the 2013 American series Ray Donovan and features Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati in the lead role, along with Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, and Surveen Chawla. The upcoming second season will introduce Arjun Rampal to the cast. You can catch the series streaming on Netflix later this year.
