After working together on iconic films like Satya (1998), Kaun (1999), and Shool (1999), director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Manoj Bajpayee are joining forces again for an exciting new project—a horror comedy. Titled Police Station Mein Bhoot, the film will take place in a police station.

Ram Gopal Varma shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting that after tackling various genres such as horror, gangster films, romance, political drama, thrillers, and adventure, he is now venturing into the uncharted waters of horror comedy, a genre that both he and Manoj have yet to explore.

Ram has announced the title of his new film—Police Station Mein Bhoot, accompanied by the tagline: You Can't Kill The Dead. In a detailed post, he shared insights about the film's premise, which centers on a police station that turns haunted following a fatal encounter.

"We usually turn to the police when we're scared, but who do the police turn to when they're the ones in fear? After a deadly encounter, a POLICE STATION transforms into a HAUNTED STATION, sending all the COPS fleeing from the GHOSTS of the GANGSTERS," Ram expressed in his tweet.

He also promised fans that the movie will feature state-of-the-art VFX and spine-tingling horror that will leave the audience on edge.

Months after RGV shared his struggles with maintaining focus in his career following the massive success of Satya and Rangeela, he revealed his upcoming film, Syndicate, on X. This new project will delve into "a terrifying organization that poses a threat to India's very existence." The director described it as a "futuristic story that isn't set too far into the future." Ram's last film was the 2002 martial arts flick, Ladki: Dragon Girl. In the meantime, Manoj appeared in Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout, Bhaiyya Ji, and Despatch last year.
