Ram Charan is set to return to films after the massive success of RRR, with the upcoming film Game Changer. The movie directed by veteran filmmaker Shankar is touted to be a political thriller. Even though the movie started rolling in October 2021, it was delayed multiple times due to various technical reasons. Meanwhile, it was speculated that the Ram Charan starrer is being made as two parts, just like Shankar’s next outing Indian 2. However, the director put the rumours to rest, in a recent interview.

Game Changer is NOT getting a sequel, confirms Shankar

The master craftsman, who is now busy promoting his ambitious project Indian 2, recently reacted to the rumours on Game Changers sequel in a chat with the media. Shankar rubbished the reports and revealed that the Ram Charan starrer is a standalone film. The director also added that he has no plans to direct a sequel to the film, which is one of the most anticipated projects of the Telugu film industry. The director’s revelation, however, has raised questions on the long delay of the political thriller, yet again.

Game Changer delay – Ram Charan fans are upset

The long delay in the release of Game Changer has left the Ram Charan fans, highly upset. They have been pointing out how the RRR actor waited for quite a long period for the project. However, the movie, which was originally supposed to hit the theatres in 2022, was put on hold in between after director Shankar was caught up with the shooting of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2. The fans are also upset with the senior filmmaker for apparently ‘refusing’ to answer the questions about Game Changer in during press interactions.
