Ram Charan is diving into his next project, which is being helmed by Buchi Babu Sana. They've moved the filming to Hyderabad, and most of the action is happening at night as they work on a cricket match scene.

There are whispers that the film might be called Power Cricket. At first, it was thought the title would be Peddi, named after Ram Charan’s character. But with some major tweaks to the script lately, and given how important cricket is to the plot, Power Cricket seems to be the leading contender for the title.

RC16 is being promoted as a sports drama and features music by the talented A.R. Rahman. Ram Charan will showcase a fresh look in this film, which is being produced on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers. Janhvi Kapoor is on board as the female lead, and the movie is expected to hit theaters by the end of 2025.

Buchi Babu Sana, who made a splash with his debut film Uppena featuring Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, is now taking on a project with Ram Charan for his second film, which is a big deal for him. Cinematographer Rathnavelu accidentally gave away the film's setting by posting a sneak peek of the sets with the hashtag Power Cricket. Fans are now buzzing that this might be the official title.
