When Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B was set for its theatrical release, as is the case with most movies these days, there were questions about its streaming partner and approximate date it could be expected online. At the time, Rakshit Shetty, the lead actor and producer of the film, had clarified that he had not finalized an OTT partner and was still weighing his options, even though, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A was on Amazon Prime Video.

Now that was not a business decision that Rakshit had made, but rather one that was done even before the film was made, back when Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah was meant to produce it. Pushkara did not know that Sapta Sagaradaache Ello would eventually be two films and sold the rights of one film to Amazon Prime Video, and as per this agreement, Side A went to the streamer, leaving Rakshit with the option of selling Side B elsewhere. In fact, there was speculation that he was favouring Zee Network, as it had bagged the satellite rights.

But considering that Side A was on Prime Video, it made sense to have Side B also on the same platform and it came there on January 25, only to go missing almost 2 months later. In late March, had reported that Side B was not on Prime, after some audiences noticed that it was no longer available to stream. Queries about the same remained unanswered and it was thought that Rakshit had taken his film into the market again and would shop it to other takers.

As it turns out, though, it is Prime Video that has renewed its contract with the team and brought Side B back on its platform. It remains to be seen if it will now remain for a longer duration, or is under a limited scheme only. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, directed by Hemanth M Rao, also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Chaithra J Achar, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Achyuth Kumar, Ramesh Indira, JP Thuminad, among others.
