The makers of Malayalam upcoming film, Rekhachithram, have dropped a major update today (August 11). The poster of the film, starring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in title roles, was unveiled by the cast and crew on various social media platforms.

“With great anticipation, I am excited to present the first look poster of my upcoming film ‘രേഖാചിത്രം ‘,” Asif wrote on his Instagram. The latest poster suggests that the film is an investigative horror thriller. Although the actor is clearly portraying a police officer, Anaswara dresses as a nun who appears to be a ghost. It is reasonable to assume that the character played by the Thalavan star is investigating the strange death of a nun. In the next days, more information about the story and the release date should be anticipated.

Cast and crew of Rekhachithram

The entire cast of the movie, whose filming was completed in July, has been revealed by the producers along with the poster. In Rekhachithram, Zarin Shihab, Manoj K Jayan, Bhama, Siddique, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, and Megha Thomas will all play significant roles.

The Priest-fame Jofin T Chacko has directed this movie, which is bankrolled by Venu Kunnappilly and Anto Joseph under the banners of Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media. The director, along with Ramu Sunil, have created the story for the screenplay. The original score and soundtracks have been composed by Rahul Raj.

Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan’s upcoming projects

Adios Amigo and Level Cross are two of Asif's most recent releases. His forthcoming lineup also includes Tiki Taka, Abhyanthara Kuttavali, and Kishkindha Kandam. Starting on September 12, the actor's second movie, Thalavan, which also stars Biju Menon, will be available for streaming on Sony LIV.

Beginning this year, Anaswara Rajan had a strong lineup, starting with Abraham Ozler, which was released in January. Her other release, Guruvayoorambala Nadayil, is now available on Disney+ Hotstar. The Neru star’s upcoming film is Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor, which will hit the big screen on August 23.
