Scheduled to hit theaters on June 20, 2025, the movie features Rajkummar Rao in the titular role, where he embodies a formidable gangster with a captivating new intensity, ensuring a thrilling cinematic experience.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chhillar were engaged in filming for Maalik along the Lucknow-Kanpur highway in August 2024, with the shooting schedule spanning approximately one month. This action-oriented film includes notable performances by Anshumaan Pushkar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Swanand Kirkire in significant roles. The inaugural shot was captured last Sunday in the village of Pathakpur.

The film's line producer, Aroon Singh Dicky, stated, "At present, we are filming in a village, after which we will transition to Kanpur for a duration of 10 to 12 days. Following that, the entire crew will relocate to Lucknow for an extended shooting schedule, which will take place across several locations."

Pulkit, recognized for his proficiency in thrillers and dramas, is directing this captivating narrative.
