Rajini's 'Vettaiyan' movie: A story that has lost its grip on a simple story!

After last year's blockbuster movie 'Jailor', Superstar Rajinikanth's new movie is 'Vettaiyan'. Director T.J. Gnanavel, who gave a cult film like 'Jai Bheem', directed this movie and produced it as a Pan India movie by the big budget film production company Lyca Productions. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Fazil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Abhirami in other key roles have increased interest in the film.
On Thursday, the film came to the audience all over the world. Many people are posting that Rajinikanth's intro was well done but the first half was very slow and the interval bang was overblown. It is said that Anirudh has once again proved that the music is the backbone of the film and the second half is the strength of the film. Especially with the story of catching a serial killer who is committing murders by using today's technology, Gyanve L Raja has done a good experiment with Rajinikanth. Posts are being made that Amitabh Bachchan's role will be short even though it is short. Even though the movie is a thriller, the emotions are also impressive. Athean is an encounter specialist. Honesty is accompanied by courage. He does not hesitate to take the law into his hands for justice. One such officer is disturbed by the murder of a school teacher named Sharanya (Dushara Vijayan). The escape of the accused who committed the murder will increase the pressure on the government and the police officers. With that, Athyan has to enter the field. After taking charge of the case, he kills the murderer within hours. What are the consequences? Why does Justice Satyadev (Amitabh Bachchan), who is fighting for human rights, take this encounter wrong? Why did Athion feel the need to investigate the case again? Similar to his successful 'Jai Bheem', the director has once again chosen a strong theme of justice and education and made this film.
The intention of telling the story, the way it is told as a Khmer thriller with encounters is commendable. However, the commercial elements that are not suitable for Rajinikanth's image, and the story-wise lack of interesting twists for the average viewer, the film feels like a documentary with social commentary after crossing a stage. The fact that the entire film revolves around a murder case is also not very pleasing. The director introduced Rajinikanth with his trademark scenes and then slowly moved into the story. Although the conflict between Judge Satyadev, who fights for human rights, and Athyan, who has an encounter, could be the key to the second half, the director did not focus on that. With that, the scenes between the two characters go smoothly. The drama in the background of the encounters was a little bit, the online education turned towards the mafia, and then all the scenes were left to the imagination of the audience, and the film lost its grip. Rana Daggubati is seen as a corporate force. His performance in the role is impressive. The roles of Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Manju Warrier are crucial in the story. Technically the music and camera departments have performed well. The director's story is good. There is power in words. But the way the story is directed is not very pleasing. More exercises should be done in terms of narration. The structure is superior.
