Get ready for an exciting adventure! The highly anticipated action film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring the iconic Rajinikanth, is set to include a special dance number by the talented Pooja Hegde.

Sun Pictures dropped the thrilling news on Thursday morning through their official X account, announcing that Pooja Hegde will be joining the film's impressive cast. The tweet said, "Yes, you guessed it right! @hegdepooja from the sets of #Coolie."

As the film approaches the final stages of production, insiders revealed that Rajinikanth recently completed an important shooting schedule in Thailand from January 13 to 28. Earlier this year, the superstar mentioned that about 70% of the film was already in the can.

Coolie boasts an exciting lineup of stars, including Telugu actor Nagarjuna, Kannada actor Upendra, Malayalam star Soubin Shahir, Tamil legend Sathyaraj, and actresses Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, and Junior MGR. To top it off, Bollywood’s Aamir Khan will make a special cameo!

With music by Anirudh Ravichander and stunning visuals from Girish Gangadharan, the film is sure to make a lasting impression. Produced by Sun Pictures under Kalanithi Maran’s banner and edited by Philomin Raj, one of the most exciting aspects of Coolie is the reunion of Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj, who last collaborated in the 1986 classic Mr. Bharath.

Coolie, marking Rajinikanth’s 171st film, centers around gold smuggling. While fans speculated it might tie into the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), director Kanagaraj has confirmed it will be a standalone story.
