The big news is finally out! After the massive success of the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, Rajinikanth is teaming up again with director Nelson Dilipkumar for a sequel. It's called Jailer 2, and the teaser for the announcement dropped on Tuesday, January 14.

Jailer 2 teaser has dropped!

Nelson Dilipkumar, who directed the hit film Jailer with Rajinikanth in the lead, has just revealed that a sequel, Jailer 2, is on the way. A promo has dropped, confirming that Sun Pictures and Anirudh Ravichander are teaming up again.

The four-minute teaser kicks off with a news report about the upcoming Fengal cyclone, showing Anirudh and Nelson chatting about their new project. Their talk gets cut short when chaos erupts, with men being shot and attacked. Just when things get intense, Rajinikanth makes his much-anticipated entrance. As a bomb rolls toward them, Rajinikanth steps out of the house, while snipers take aim at him. The teaser is set to the Hukum soundtrack from the first Jailer, and it wraps up with the exciting announcement of Jailer 2.

The production company hasn't revealed much about the cast and crew yet. However, Jailer 2 has definitely got Rajinikanth fans buzzing with excitement, and they're eager for more news after Coolie hits the screens.
