Rajatava Dutta will soon be back as Inspector Nalinikanta. Directed by Soumik Chatterjee, the second season of the show will feature Amrita Chatterjee, Suprabhat Das, Chandak Choudhury, Raja Chatterjee, Manas Mukherjee, Madhumita Sengupta, and Debadrita play other roles. Rudra wrote the story and the screenplay and Koustav Sarkar edited the series. The show will stream on Klikk on August 24. 

The series shows that Nalinikanta goes to the hills with his wife Parama. His junior Sakya, who is the sub-inspector of a local police station, welcomes them. Several murders happen. Can Nalinikanta solve them? The answer lies in the series. 

Rajatava said, “When a series goes to the second season, it means people liked it. The most important thing in Nalinikanta is that he is not a supercop. He is rather a sensitive human being. He is aged and not fully well. But he is a savior of law. We were praised for the first season. We want to give them something more this time.  Hence we are not confined to Kolkata and went to shoot in the Dooars. That was difficult.” 

Soumik Chatterjee said 'Inspector Nalinikanta is close to me. The audience and the actors loved his characteristics. He is acceptable to people from all age groups. Hence we planned to bring the second season. This time he went to Dooars to solve the crime.'
