Sarangadhariya is the latest Telugu release, which not many knew about in the first place. But now, with each passing day, the family drama is getting traction. As Indian 2 has fallen flat at the box office in Telugu states, Sarangadhariya is getting decent screens. 

Sarangadhariya screens increased

Padmarao Abbisetty is the director of the film, which hit the screens on July 12, 2024. He is over the moon for the response he is getting for his movie. "I never expected such a positive response to my film. In fact, I was scared and was waiting to see how the audience would embrace a film that has a transgender as the main conflict point. But the audience loved our film, and the makers are thrilled with the response," says Padmarao.

Raja Raveender wins applause for Sarangadhariya

Sarangadhariya marks the debut of popular character actor, Raja Raveender as the main lead. He used to play negative roles to date, and for the first time, he played the role of a doting father of a transgender. The emotions, pain, and courage he goes through to raise his son and fulfill his dreams are showcased in a decent manner in this film.

Raja Raveender's performance has also come in for a lot of praise. Adding further, the talented Raja Raveender says that the makers are getting lucrative OTT deals for the film and very soon, the digital rights will also be finalized.

As the film lacks star value, the occupancy is quite low. Sarangadhariya also features Sreekanth Iyengar, Siva Chandu, Yashaswini, Moin, Mohith, Neela Priya, Kadambari Kiran, Manikandan Reddy, Anantha Babu, and Harshawardhan in key roles. We need to see how this film will fare in the days to come.
