It has previously been reported that actor Suriya is set to collaborate with filmmaker and actor RJ Balaji on a project tentatively titled Suriya 45. During the initial announcement, it was revealed that composer AR Rahman would be involved in the film. However, in a recent development, the production team announced on Monday that the emerging musician Sai Abhyankkar has been appointed as the composer for the project.

This marks a significant milestone for Sai Abhyankkar, known for his viral hits such as Aasa Kuda and Katchi Sera. The talented composer, who is the son of renowned singers Tipu and Harini, has already established himself in the indie music scene. He is set to make his debut with the upcoming film Benz, featuring Raghava Lawrence, which will be part of the LCU. Suriya 45 is being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film was officially announced some time ago and commenced shooting a few weeks prior. The principal cast and crew, including RJ Balaji and Suriya, were seen at the Masaniamman Temple located near Pollachi.
The producers announced on Sunday that cinematographer GK Vishnu, known for his work on Jawan, Mersal, and Bigil, will be part of the project. Official announcements regarding additional team members are anticipated to be released soon. According to reports, Trisha has also been added to the cast of Suriya 45.
