After the massive success of Stree 2, Aparshakti Khurana is now gearing up for his upcoming spy-thriller film, Berlin. It is making its debut on ZEE5 on September 13, 2024. You can also watch the film through OTTplay Premium. Berlin has been making news ever since the trailer dropped. The action sequences, the suspense, the visual effects, and the performances, have already made viewers super excited for the film. Recently, in an interview, Rahul Bose, Aparshakti Khurana, and Anupriya Goenka revealed some interesting details about the spy-thriller.
Rahul Bose reveals why the film is titled Berlin
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rahul Bose, Aparshakti Khurana, and Anupriya Goenka shed light on their upcoming spy-thriller film. While talking about an intriguing title, Bose revealed that a lot of things have happened in the name of Berlin. He also shared that all the events that are shown in the film, the intersections, everything is linked to the name Berlin.
“When you watch the film, you will get to know why the film's name is given Berlin, and why the plot is all about Berlin”, said Rahul.
Aparshakti Khurana on intense shooting experience
On being asked about the challenges that they faced while filming, Aparshakti revealed that throughout the shooting of Berlin, everyone was quite serious as the scenes were quite intense. He added, “It was a world which required a certain kind of subtle behavior. And also, adding to that, there was no time to have fun on the set. However, when we used to take a break or finish the shooting, we definitely used to enjoy ourselves, but not on the set."
Plot of ZEE5’s film Berlin
In the year 1993 New Delhi, a deaf-mute man named Ashok Kumar (Ishwak Singh), gets wrongly accused of espionage and gets arrested by the Bureau. A sign language interpreter has been brought in to aid the investigation, but as the case progresses, the boundaries between truth and falsehood become increasingly blurred, making it hard for the Bureau to solve the chilling suspension case.
Directed by Atul Sabharwal, and starring Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, Anupriya Goenka, Ishwak Singh, and Kabir Bedi, Berlin will premiere on September 13 on ZEE5.
