Tollywood returned to its old form, almost forgetting the clash between the Federation of Cine Technicians & Workers of Eastern India and the directors. The problem was resolved at the instruction of CM Mamata Banerjee. On August 5, the Federation cleared Rahool Mukherjee and he started the shooting on Tuesday along with Prosenjit Chatterjee and Anirban Bhattacharya. The first meeting of the review committee took place in Nandan on Wednesday.

The five members of the committee, Arup Biswas, Goutam Ghose, Prosenjit, Dev, and Indranil Sen were present. The directors complained about the strict rules of the Federation and demanded a change in the regulations. Mamata Banerjee instructed a review committee to discuss those issues. The first meeting was held.

Dev tweeted, ‘Done with our 1st Review Committee Meeting formed by the Honourable CM regarding the betterment of the industry at Nandan. Really had a constructive n healthy discussion.’

Mamata Banerjee instructed that no one should be banned. Dev told the media on Tuesday that this was the CM’s order. However, if someone makes any mistake, they will be penalised. Goutam Ghose said that the Federation’s rules about shooting would be changed. A committee will be formed to review the rules. The chief minister talked about starting the new set of rules in November, based on the committee’s recommendations.

Meanwhile, Rahool took to social media to thank as he got back to the shooting floors. “First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who stood by me during the toughest times. I am beyond thankful to return to work as a Director, a role I truly believe I was born to fulfill. The joy and relief I feel are indescribable, and I owe it all to God,” he wrote.
