Directed by Marc Webb, the film raked in $44.3 million internationally, bringing its total debut to $87.3 million worldwide. Clips and images of Snow White playing in nearly empty theaters have gone viral on social media, with critics taking aim not just at Disney but also at Zegler.

The 23-year-old actress has faced a wave of controversies since landing the role of the beloved Disney princess. Her previous remarks about the 1937 classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ignited backlash, leading fans to criticize Zegler online.

In light of Snow White's disappointing box office performance, an old video of Zegler asserting, “People will wait in line” to see her movies, has made a comeback on the internet. The clip was shared on X by Ian Miles Cheong, co-host of the Other View Podcast, along with a comment that read, “Before Snow White hit theaters, actress Rachel Zegler told her critics that audiences would line up to see her. Now, Snow White is the worst-performing Disney film in decades. Clearly, no one was waiting in line for it.”

In the viral video, Zegler expresses, “I can only wish that even with my imperfections and all my flaws – and trust me, there are plenty – people will still line up for every premiere and event I attend.” However, critics have taken notice of Snow White's disappointing ratings and the lack of audience at its showings, with one remarking, “Welcome back to reality, princess... Snow White was a total failure.”
