Ramesh Taurani, the producer behind Tips Films, has officially addressed the rumors swirling about the cast for the next Race movie. He confirmed that they are currently working on the script for Race 4 and stated that Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra are the only actors in the running for this action-packed thriller right now.

Taurani stated, "We want to make it clear that we're only in talks with Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra for the upcoming Race movie (Race 4), which is still in the scripting stage.". 

The producer also stressed the importance of sticking to official updates and asked both media outlets and social media users to avoid sharing unverified information. Up to this point, they haven't contacted any other actors. Furthermore, the statement called on the media and social platforms to hold off on spreading any misinformation until their PR team releases an official announcement.

There have been plenty of rumors linking this action-packed franchise to several well-known Bollywood stars, including some of the newer female talents, so this latest news isn’t shocking. While Salman Khan's Race 3 (2018) didn’t fare well with critics or audiences, Saif Ali Khan's Race and Race 2 were big hits and have since become cult favorites, thanks to their eye-catching visuals, gripping suspense, and outstanding performances.

To breathe new life into the original Race concept, Sidharth Malhotra has been cast, known for his action roles in films like Shershaah and Marjaavaan. If this collaboration happens, it will mark Saif's return to the franchise for the first time since Race 2 (2013), which was over ten years ago.
