In the vibrant heart of Bengal, R. Madhavan's character, Shrirenu Tripathi, arrives in Kolkata. There, he reunites with Fatima Sana Shaikh's Madhu Bose. They’re already in love, and she’s absolutely thrilled to see him.

A shared passion for languages and music unites the couple

She’s into French, while he’s all about Sanskrit. Their passion for languages, whether from India or beyond, really connects them as a couple. But that’s not all. They also share a love for music, with her drawn to the piano and him playing the sitar. It’s a unique and beautiful love story, and if it all comes together, it could be something special.

The RHTDM experience

Check out that bench by the sea in RHTDM! There's a scene in Aap Jaisa Koi that gives off those same vibes, and it's just as enchanting, if not more. The characters sit together and lean in, creating this really special moment. It might not quite reach the level of RHTDM, but it definitely gets close.

Is this all just a figment of my imagination?

In a nearly final moment of the teaser, we see that Shri has just been lost in her thoughts. Sitting in the movie theater, she brings a glimmer of hope by saying that a rom-com could totally happen with them.
