R Madhavan was recently spotted in Hisaab Barabar, which premiered directly on OTT. The film, directed by Ashwni Dhir, features Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Rashami Desai in significant roles. While promoting the movie, Madhavan shared some thoughts about his 3 Idiots co-star Aamir Khan. They teamed up in the hit 2009 film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, alongside Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor Khan. In a recent chat, Madhavan disclosed a fascinating quirk of Aamir that’s hard to believe!

Chatting with Just Too Filmy, the Tanu Weds Manu star shared a fun fact about Aamir Khan—he often goes out without his wallet! He mentioned, "I could never do that. Aamir's fame lets him pull it off. He has folks around to cover his expenses. Sure, he pays them back, but that's just not my style. I like to keep it low-key and walk solo. It gives me the freedom to connect with people."

He mentioned that he always stays within his budget, even though he doesn’t pay too much attention to his spending. If he wants to buy a luxury car, he wouldn’t go for it unless it fits his budget. He also shared his wife Sarita’s views on his finances. Madhavan said, "My wife believes I’m overly generous and calls me a fool when it comes to money. She thinks I just give it away. I feel like I’m careful with my spending, but she insists that I’m not even close to being careful. I just spend what I have."
