Pushpa 2 is one of the most-awaited films in Telugu cinema, as the first part, Pushpa, was a rage in the country. The action drama, which was supposed to hit the screens on August 15, 2024, was postponed, and now the Allu Arjun-starrer will hit the screens on December 6, 2024, and post-production is happening briskly.

Rumours about Pushpa 2 are untrue

We at OTTplay have already reported that the shooting of the film has come to a halt as one of the key actors in the film did not have dates and this led to the abrupt disruption of the shoot. Ever since this happened, news has come out that Allu Arjun and director Sukumar had issues, and they have fallen out and that is the reason the shoot has been halted. 

News also came out that Allu Arjun was so upset that he even chopped of his beard and this delayed the shoot even longer. The social media is abuzz with rumours that Pushpa 2 will be postponed to next year. Ever since the news came out, fans of Allu Arjun are quite upset. But one of the sources close to the star has revealed to us that the news regarding the postponement is not true.

Pushpa 2 new schedule to start soon

As there was a delay in the shoot, Allu Arjun had left for Norway to attend a special event. Once he is back, he will get back to the sets and wrap up the shooting. As of now, the source says that there is no delay in the release date and Pushpa 2 will come out on December 6, 2024 as promised.

The source also confirms there is no rift between Allu Arjun and Sukumar, and things are going as planned. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in this film, which has music by DSP. Two songs that have been released have already become chartbusters. Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj play key roles in the film. Watch this space for more updates.
