Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to hit streaming platforms soon! Sukumar’s film featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil will be available for digital viewing. Netflix India announced on Monday that an extended version of the movie will be coming to the platform shortly.

Netflix India shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the Telugu and other South Indian language versions of the film will be hitting the platform soon, complete with an extra 23 minutes of footage, bringing the total runtime to 3 hours and 44 minutes. They teased, “The man. The myth. The brAAnd. Pushpa’s rule is about to begin! Watch Pushpa 2 - Reloaded Version with 23 minutes of extra footage on Netflix, coming soon in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada!” Some folks chimed in, curious about when the Hindi version would drop.

While the streaming service hasn't confirmed the digital release date yet, many are speculating it could be this Thursday. This guess comes after the film’s producers, Mythri Movie Makers, cleared up some rumors about an early OTT release, stating, “There are rumors floating around about the OTT release of #Pushpa2TheRule. It won't be on any OTT before 56 days! It's #WildFirePushpa only in Theatres Worldwide.” January 30 will mark 56 days since the film premiered in theaters on December 5.

Pushpa 2: The Rule picks up right where the 2021 movie Pushpa: The Rise ended. Arjun's character, Pushpa Raj, has now become the top dog in the red sanders smuggling scene in India, and Rashmika's Srivalli is living happily as his wife. Meanwhile, Fahadh's cop, Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, is still on a mission to take Pushpa down.

This film has smashed records, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2024 and the second-highest-grossing Indian film ever, right after Dangal. As per Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule raked in ₹1467.80 crore in India and ₹1738.45 crore globally within just 52 days. The team behind the film even claimed it hit the ₹1831 crore mark in just 32 days.
