Pushpa 2: The Rule producers threatened

Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat has reportedly issued a threat to the producer of Pushpa 2: The Rule, as reported by ANI, in response to what he perceives as an affront to the Kshatriya community. In a statement shared on X, he insisted that the producers eliminate the term ‘Shekawat’ from the film, asserting that its inclusion constitutes an insult to Kshatriyas.

He stated in a video, “The film has severely disrespected Kshatriyas. The Shekhawat community has been depicted unfavourably.” He further warned, “If the filmmakers do not cease the repeated use of the term Shekhawat in the movie, the Karni Sena will take action against them, even resorting to extreme measures if necessary.”

In the film, Fahadh Faasil portrays a police officer named Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, who is consistently outmanoeuvred by Pushpa Raj, a red Sanders smuggler played by Arjun. The narrative continues from where the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise concluded, with Bhanwar determined to take down Pushpa by any means necessary.
