Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to hit theaters on December 5, 2024, in a grand manner, with anticipation for the film at an all-time high. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success and have reportedly sold the rights to Pushpa 2 for an unprecedented amount. 

Pushpa 2 Telugu pre-release business details

As previously reported, the film needs to gross at least ₹1,000 crore to break even, a massive challenge. We have some exclusive updates for our readers: the Telugu rights have been sold for a record-breaking price, the highest ever for any Telugu film to date. 

Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Pushpa 2, have also ventured into distribution and are releasing the film under their banner. For the film to be profitable, it needs to collect a whopping ₹230 crore in the Telugu states alone, a benchmark that only RRR has surpassed by crossing ₹200 crores so far.

The film's success hinges on a blockbuster opening at the box office.
