Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule is poised to make waves at the box office, even with nine days left until its theatrical debut. The film is gearing up for a spectacular global release, and its advance ticket sales in the U.S. suggest it will enjoy a strong opening. Impressively, it is already outperforming major hits like RRR and Jawan in pre-sales.
Pushpa 2's U.S. Box Office Surge
On Monday, trade analyst Venky Box Office reported that the film's advance bookings for its U.S. premiere have reached $1,383,949, covering 900 locations with 3,420 shows and over 50,000 tickets sold. By Sunday evening, total North American advance sales had surpassed $1.458 million, marking a new record.
Analysts predict that with nine days remaining, Pushpa 2 could easily exceed $1.5 million in advance sales, outpacing both RRR and Jawan, which each grossed over $15 million in North America and rank among the top five highest-grossing Indian films there. The film is also tracking closely to Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster Pathaan and is just behind the all-time record holder for Indian films in the U.S., Baahubali 2, which earned $20 million.
