Pushpa 2, also known as Pushpa: The Rule, has dominated the box office for several weeks, amassing over Rs 1500 crore globally. Despite various reports indicating that the film may soon be available on Netflix, the producers have confirmed that it will not be released on any OTT platform for streaming until at least 56 days have passed.

The film, featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role and directed by Sukumar, has achieved remarkable success, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. Although there have been claims of an HD version being leaked online and speculation about its streaming on Netflix, the production team has dismissed these rumors.

Mythri Movie Makers, the studio behind the film, has stated that Pushpa 2 will remain in theaters throughout the festive season. With Christmas and New Year approaching, they have announced that the film will not be available on OTT platforms until after 56 days, which suggests that it will not be accessible before the end of January 2025, likely debuting on streaming services on or after January 29.

In terms of box office performance, Pushpa: The Rule has excelled, generating Rs 1005 crore in India alone during its first 17 days. The film's total worldwide earnings have already exceeded Rs 1500 crore.

In addition to Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 features performances by Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others. A third installment, titled Pushpa: The Rampage, is currently in development, with its release date yet to be announced. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS. Notably, despite Allu Arjun's recent arrest and subsequent release related to a stampede incident, the film has maintained its successful run at the box office.
