Pushpa 2, the highly anticipated Telugu film of 2024 featuring Allu Arjun in the principal role, premiered on OTT platforms on Thursday following an impressive two-month theatrical run. The film was released on Netflix in several major Indian languages, including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi; however, viewers noted the absence of the Kannada version.

In response to audience feedback, Netflix added the Kannada dubbed version of Pushpa 2 just one day after its initial OTT release. This allows Kannada-speaking audiences to experience the film in their native language.

Pushpa 2 OTT release: Allu Arjun’s film now accessible in Kannada  

Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 has officially launched on OTT, premiering on Netflix on Thursday, January 30. Initially, some viewers expressed disappointment that the film was available in all major Indian languages except Kannada. Following these concerns, Netflix promptly included the Kannada version of Pushpa 2. Reports indicate that the film achieved remarkable box office success for a Kannada dubbed release, grossing Rs 9.2 crore.

A new edition of Pushpa 2 has been launched, featuring an extra 23 minutes of content. Directed by Sukumar, the film showcases prominent performances by Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, with Sreeleela making an appearance in a musical sequence.

The narrative of Pushpa 2 centres on the main character, a red Sanders smuggler who has ascended to become the leader of the illicit trade. Despite wielding significant influence over politicians and power, he faces a formidable adversary in the form of police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

Daali Dhananjaya, Tarak Ponnappa, Jagadeesh Pratap Bhandari, Jagapati Babu, Sunil, Anusuya Bharadwaj, and Rao Ramesh, among others, are featured in the film. This production serves as the second installment in the Pushpa film series, with a third installment titled Pushpa: The Rampage anticipated to be in development. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, and the music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
