Pushpa 2 Kerala box office collection day 3: The mass action film, representing the fourth collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Sukumar, has been performing admirably both domestically and internationally. Despite Pushpa 2: The Rule achieving remarkable success in its global earnings, its performance in Kerala has not been as favourable. The film experienced a strong opening at the Kerala box office; however, its momentum significantly decreased on the second and third days following its release.
Pushpa 2 Kerala box office collection day 3
For those unfamiliar, Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s film recorded an impressive opening in Kerala on its first day, amassing over Rs 6.35 crore. Consequently, Pushpa 2: The Rule has become the highest-grossing film at the Kerala box office for 2024, surpassing the previous record held by SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ Baahubali 2, thus establishing itself as the all-time highest Day 1 grosser from Telugu cinema in the region.
Nevertheless, the film's collections began to decline from the second day of its release in Kerala, primarily due to unfavourable reviews. Allu Arjun’s action-packed film garnered approximately Rs 2.25 crore on both Day 2 and Day 3, which coincided with its first Saturday in theatres, indicating a significant drop in earnings. As a result, the total collection for the first three days of Sukumar's direction now stands at Rs. 10.85 crore in the state.
Pushpa 2 Kerala box office prediction
It is anticipated that Pushpa 2 may see a slight uptick in its Kerala box office collections on Day 4, coinciding with its first Sunday in theatres. However, it is becoming increasingly likely that the Allu Arjun starrer will struggle to surpass the Rs. 15 crore threshold in the state during its opening weekend. If this trend continues, the challenges for Sukumar's film will intensify starting from its first Monday in theatres. The movie must achieve a minimum of Rs. 60 crore to reach breakeven in the state.
