As Pushpa 2 approaches the two-week mark since its release, the film is firmly on track to achieve a remarkable collection of Rs 1000 crore across the nation. The Allu Arjun-led production has already amassed Rs 954 crore within India and is poised to join the esteemed Rs 1000-crore club, relying solely on its domestic box office earnings.

Allu Arjun's film Pushpa 2 continues to achieve remarkable success, breaking numerous box office records and approaching the Rs 1000-crore milestone in the domestic market of India. The film has already surpassed this figure in its global earnings, amassing over Rs 1200 crore within just 10 days of its release. It is now on track to reach a worldwide total of Rs 1500 crore.

Pushpa 2 was launched in several languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film, starring Allu Arjun, had a solo release throughout India, and the upcoming weeks will be pivotal as films such as Mufasa: The Lion King, Viduthalai - Part 2, and Baby John are set to premiere. Nevertheless, Pushpa 2 has surpassed most other films to emerge as the highest-grossing film of the year.

Directed by Sukumar and featuring performances by Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. A third instalment, titled Pushpa: The Rampage, is currently in development.

Allu Arjun's arrest does not impede the box office earnings of Pushpa 2.

It is important to highlight that Pushpa 2 garnered significant media attention following the arrest of its lead actor, Allu Arjun, who was detained overnight in connection with the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre. This unfortunate event led to the death of a woman during the film's premiere, which Allu Arjun attended.

Despite the presence of security measures, the tragedy unfolded, resulting in Allu Arjun's arrest and his later release on bail. However, the film's box office performance remained robust, with Pushpa 2 continuing to achieve impressive financial success.
