Pushpa 2, also known as Pushpa: The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun, has marked a successful one-month theatrical run as of this Sunday, accumulating approximately Rs 1200 crore in domestic earnings across all languages. Although the film has surpassed Rs 1800 crore in global revenue, it has not yet achieved the status of the highest-grossing film in the history of Indian cinema.

The film Pushpa 2, featuring Allu Arjun, has successfully garnered a total of Rs 1199 crore over the course of its five-week theatrical run. The movie has undeniably experienced an impressive performance at the box office throughout the past month. On its 31st day in cinemas, it achieved a collection of Rs 5.5 crore across all languages, which include Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.

The weekend is still ongoing, and the film is anticipated to generate additional revenue, potentially maintaining its dominance in theaters for another week before being succeeded by the Sankranthi and Pongal releases. With Ram Charan’s Game Changer set to premiere on January 10, it remains to be seen whether Pushpa 2 will continue to perform well. Currently, Pushpa 2 has achieved a total collection of Rs 331.51 crore in Telugu, Rs 785 crore in Hindi, Rs 57 crore in Tamil, Rs 7.71 crore in Kannada, and Rs 14 crore in Malayalam.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 was released in theaters on December 5, following premiere shows the previous day.

Pushpa 2 on OTT

Unlike many films that premiere on OTT platforms within four weeks of their theatrical release, Pushpa 2 will not be accessible for streaming until eight weeks have passed since its release date. Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for this film, although an official release date for its OTT debut has yet to be announced.

The cast includes Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. Pushpa: The Rampage is the third installment of the franchise currently in development. The Pushpa series centers on a red sanders smuggler who ultimately rises to become the kingpin of the trade, while also being celebrated by many of his laborers for his courageous deeds.
