Pushpa 2 box office collection Day 1: Sukumar and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule is poised to become the highest-grossing Indian film upon its release. The film has made an impressive debut and has the potential to surpass the earnings of Jawan and Kalki 2898 AD.

According to Sacnilk.com, the film has garnered approximately ₹32.53 crore in net earnings across India by 10 AM on Thursday, encompassing all languages. In the United States, a tweet from Prathyangira Cinemas indicates that the film has earned $3.2 million solely from preview show revenues.

Ashish Saksena, Chief Operating Officer of BookMyShow, remarked, “Pushpa 2: The Rule has officially made history by surpassing an extraordinary 3 million tickets in advance sales, marking the highest figure ever recorded in India! As audiences flock to theaters on this thrilling opening day, the excitement surrounding this blockbuster is unmistakable. This achievement is not merely a record for Pushpa 2: The Rule, but a significant milestone for Indian cinema, highlighting its remarkable growth and paving the way for an extraordinary year-end celebration. Already a phenomenon across the nation, the film is set to break box office records and elevate the standards of cinema to unprecedented heights!”

Where will it rank?

The record for the highest opening in Indian cinema is held by RRR, which earned ₹223 crore on its first day, followed closely by Baahubali with ₹217 crore and Kalki 2898 AD at ₹175 crore. Numerous industry analysts are projecting that Pushpa 2 could surpass ₹250 crore.

This film, directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, will feature Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively. Allu Arjun, the film's lead actor, was honored with a National Film Award for his performance in the first installment.

The initial part of Pushpa, also directed by Sukumar, depicted the struggles for power within the context of red sandalwood smuggling.
