Pushpa 2 is one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema and has been on a rampage since its release on December 5, 2024. The action drama has completed 53 days of its theatrical run and has amassed an impressive ₹1,470 crore net in India to date. 

Pushpa 2 latest wolrdwide collections

The Allu Arjun-starrer witnessed a surge in occupancy during the Republic Day weekend, earning ₹1.15 crore on Sunday. With this, the total gross of the film has crossed the ₹1,840-crore mark worldwide, and it aims to surpass the lifetime collections of Dangal, which stand at just above ₹2,000 crore. 

As the OTT release of the film is scheduled for January 30, 2025, Pushpa 2 is expected to slow down at the box office and may fall short of breaking Dangal's record.

However, Sukumar's directorial effort has turned heads and left an indelible mark at the box office. While the trade had anticipated big numbers for the film, the astonishing ₹800 crore earned in the Hindi market alone exceeded all expectations.

Pushpa 2 latest overseas collections

A few weeks ago, the makers added 20 minutes of extra footage under the title Pushpa 2 Reloaded, but this did not significantly impact the collections. In the U.S., Pushpa 2 concluded its theatrical run with just over $15 million, falling short of the $16.5 million required to enter the safe zone.

Despite this, Allu Arjun has once again proven his massive pan-Indian appeal, with his performance in Pushpa 2 receiving widespread acclaim. The film's songs, action sequences, and dialogues have become a rage, with fans in various regions watching the movie multiple times.

Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for a record price and will begin streaming Pushpa 2 on January 30, 2025. The film is expected to clock record streaming minutes, as many viewers may not have had the opportunity to see the newly added footage in theaters. It remains to be seen how Pushpa 2 will perform on the streaming platform.
