The trailer for Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar was recently released online. Featuring Sharib Hashmi in the principal role, this series is a mystery thriller that centres on a man grappling with paranoia as he searches for his wife, Meera (Anupriya Goenka). Following the trailer's release, OTTplay conducted an interview with director Prabal Baruah, who directed the series scheduled to premiere on ZEE5. During the discussion, Prabal shared his reasons for selecting Sharib for the lead role.

During our conversation, Prabal Baruah shared insights regarding his forthcoming series, Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar. He explained the rationale behind casting Sharib Hashmi in the lead role, stating, "I have always admired his performance in The Family Man, and the chemistry he established on the very first day of Khoj's filming was remarkable. He is truly a talented actor."

In response to inquiries regarding the more challenging scenes during filming, the director remarked, "This is a suspense drama. Therefore, there were no particularly complex scenes from a technical standpoint. Much of the depth is conveyed through the dialogue, particularly in the character of Ved. Both Ved and Anupriya possess intricate layers, making them more complex than they initially seem."

Prabal elaborated that as a filmmaker, he must consider various factors while capturing such scenes. "It is essential to understand how the audience interprets the scenes versus the underlying reality. This project also functions as a psychological thriller. Thus, the audience's perception differs from the actual events, and my own interpretation adds another layer of complexity," he explained.

The director indicated that the ZEE5 series contains numerous layered scenes. He noted that these scenes presented challenges regarding both performance and storytelling.
