Raghava Lawrence-starrer horror comedy Kanchana, is one of the successful movie franchises to have been made in Tamil cinema. The franchise consists of four films already, Muni (2007), Muni 2: Kanchana (2011), Muni 3: Kanchana 2: Ganga (2015) and Muni 4: Kanchana 3 (2019). Now, as per the latest buzz, the fifth installment, Kanchana 4 is in the making with Raghava Lawrence in talks with one of the leading female stars of the industry.

Raghava Lawrence and Pooja Hegde in Kanchana 4?

Raghava Lawrence's successful film franchise Kanchana, has finally zeroed down on the potential female lead for its upcoming fifth instalment tentatively titled Kanchana 4. It is none other than Pooja Hegde, who was seen in films like Mugamoodi and Beast. The final talks with the actor are on. However, an official confirmation on Pooja Hegde's casting has not yet been made. If the news is indeed true, it will mark the first time Raghava Lawrence and Pooja Hedge will be collaborating.

Kanchana 4 is expected to be bankrolled by Goldmine Films and is expected to be made on a grand scale. The film is expected to go on floors soon, once the casting has been finalised.
