Raghava Lawrence has wrapped up the casting for Kanchana 4, and they've brought on two female leads for the film. Although the actor-director hasn't made an official announcement yet, sources have informed Hindustan Times that Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi are on board to join the cast.

Kanchana 4 is set to hit the floors soon

Last June, there were whispers about Mrunal Thakur joining the horror comedy franchise. Raghava quickly shut those down on social media, saying, “Hey friends and fans, all the buzz about Kanchana 4 and its cast floating around is just chatter. We’ll make an official announcement through Ragavendra Production soon!”

Now, a source has informed HT that Pooja and Nora are set to join the film. They shared, “Raghava Lawrence is gearing up to direct Kanchana 4 next. The film will feature two leading ladies, Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi. The script is all wrapped up, and filming is expected to kick off shortly.”

Kanchana 4 was initially slated to start production last year, but the pre-production and casting process took a bit longer than anticipated. Raghava still hasn’t revealed the final cast for the film.

Kanchana 4 Overview

Kanchana 4 is set to be the fifth installment in the horror comedy series created and directed by Raghava, who has starred in all the films. The series kicked off with Muni in 2007, followed by Muni 2: Kanchana in 2011. Kanchana 2 and 3 came out in 2015 and 2019, respectively.

In this new film, Raghava is joined by Kovai Sarala, Sriman, and Devadarshini in leading roles. It was originally slated for a summer release last year. Raghava recently appeared in the hit Jigarthanda Double X and has upcoming projects like Benz, Adhigaram, Kaala Bhairava, and Bullet on the horizon.
