Expectations for the sequel
In the first installment, Haseen Dillruba, Taapsee played the role of Rani, Vikrant Massey was Rishabh, and Harshvardhan Rane was Neel. The story's twisting murder mystery scenario, chronicling Rani's marriage to Rishabh, a small-town man, and her subsequent affair with Neel, kept thrilling spectators on the edge of their seats.
We may expect more depth and new plot twists in the sequel, which will carry on the story from where it left off.
With the return of Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu and Jimmy Shergill as Mrityunjay, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba resurrects the riveting romance between Rani and Rishu. Kanika Dhillon and Shiv Chanana co-produce, and Anand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishna Kumar are producers.
Audience anticipation and signature style
Audiences had high hopes for this sequel after the successful 2021 debut of the original film. In the trademark style of the fictional Indian Pulp writer Dinesh Pandit, this sequel is sure to be a roller coaster of romance, suspense, and surprising turns.
The romantic mystery Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will debut on Netflix on August 9 and promises to terrify while entertaining.
