Nivin Pauly is set to make his web series debut, very soon with the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar series Pharma, directed by PR Arun. As reported earlier, the filming of the project, which features senior Bollywood actor Rajit Kapoor in a pivotal role, was wrapped up in April 2024. A screengrab, which reveals the Pharma plot, is now doing rounds on social media. The latest updates suggest that Nivin Pauly starrer is set to have its OTT release by the end of 2024.

Nivin Pauly’s Pharma plot revealed

According to a recent screengrab which is doing rounds on social media, Pharma is a thriller which is set in the backdrop of pharmaceutical industry. “Pharma follows the struggles of a middle-class boy who joins the pharmaceutical industry as a medical representative in his 20s. His struggle to understand the rules of the game, his growing through his ranks in his 30s where his fate intertwines with a crusader against corruption in the industry, Dr Rajiv Rao,” reads the synopsis of PR Arun’s web series, which is now going viral.

Pharma to be screened at the 55th IFFI

As per the latest updates, the upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer is expected to have its grand world premiere, at the 55th International Film Festival of India, which is slated to be in Goa. Reportedly, Pharma is slated to be screened at INOX Panjim, which is one of the main venues of the 55th IFFI Goa, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 4.45 PM. An official trailer of the long-awaited web series is expected to be out, by the last week of November 2024.
