The adult comedy film Perusu is wrapping up its time in theaters and will soon be available for streaming. You can catch it on Netflix starting April 11. Directed by Ilango Ram, the film has received an A rating due to its content and will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, complete with English subtitles.

Perusu is a remake of Ilango Ram's Sinhalese film Tentigo, which premiered on the same day as the Tamil version. The story centers on the death of a highly respected elder in a village and the family's challenges in organizing his funeral. The twist? The family is left embarrassed upon discovering that he passed away with a post-mortem erection.

Siblings in real life and on screen, actors Vaibhav and Sunil Reddy portray brothers in their latest project. The supporting cast features Niharika NM making her Tamil debut, along with Chandini Tamilarasan, Deepa Shankar, Redin Kingsley, Bala Saravanan, VTV Ganesh, Karunakaran, Munishkanth, and more. The film, Perusu, is brought to life by Stone Bench Films, Baweja Studios, and Ember Light Studio.

Hansal Mehta is set to create a Hindi remake of Tentigo

Renowned Hindi director Hansal Mehta is set to take on the Hindi remake of Tentigo. The cast and crew details are still under wraps, but Sahil Saigal will produce the film, with casting director Mukesh Chhabra making his producing debut. The director for the project has not been revealed yet. Karan Vyas, known for his work on Scam 1992, Scam 2003, and Scoop, will handle the adaptation to Hindi.
