When Life Gives You Tangerines plot

The Netflix K-drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines, tells the story of Ae-sun and Gwan-sik across four seasons. Set on Jeju Island, the timeline spans from the 1960s all the way to 2025. IU takes on the role of Ae-sun, the "remarkable rebel," while Park Bo-gum portrays Gwan-sik, known as "unyielding iron."

Ae-sun is a brave and spirited character with dreams of becoming a poet, while Gwan-sik is more reserved and dedicated, especially when it comes to romance. The show captures their journey through life's challenges and triumphs. Additionally, we see older versions of Ae-sun and Gwan-sik, played by Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon.
