The advent of the streaming space has given filmmakers and creators the freedom to develop content in longer formats, where time constraints are less rigid. This creative liberty has encouraged many studios to explore the idea of expanding potent films into series, giving stories the runtime they need. Currently, the most trending example is The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which takes the LOTR trilogy in a new direction. Another IP that has successfully transitioned from film to television is the Has Fallen franchise, now extended with Paris Has Fallen. The show, which continues the Gerard Butler-led franchise, has become one of the most anticipated series worldwide. Now, it is finally making its way to the Indian market.
