SK 25 has officially been renamed Parasakthi. The eagerly anticipated title announcement video for the project was released on social media on Tuesday. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film features prominent roles played by Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa Murali.

The title teaser for Parasakthi, previously referred to as SK 25, has now been made public.

It has been previously reported that actor Sivakarthikeyan is collaborating with filmmaker Sudha Kongara for his 25th film. The project, initially known as SK 25, has now received the title Parasakthi.

This film represents the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara. According to reports, the project was originally intended for actor Suriya, with plans for Nazriya Fahadh, Vijay Varma, and Dulquer Salmaan to star. However, Suriya withdrew from the project for undisclosed reasons.

The title teaser opens with an indication that the film is set in a historical context in Madras. A scene unfolds resembling a state of rebellion, featuring Atharvaa and Sreeleela attired in vintage clothing. Ravi Mohan is depicted discharging his firearm, aimed at a portrait of Sivakarthikeyan. The protagonist is ultimately revealed, appearing to spearhead a revolutionary movement. It appears that the group consists primarily of students engaged in a protest against an unspecified issue.

Ravi Mohan takes on the role of the antagonist in Parasakthi, marking his first appearance in such a capacity, while Atharvaa Murali plays a significant role. Sreeleela, primarily known for her work in Telugu cinema, will be making her debut in this film. It is noteworthy that the title is inspired by the 1952 cult classic Tamil film featuring Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role.

Produced by Dawn Pictures, GV Prakash will collaborate once again with Sivakarthikeyan following the success of Amaran to compose the music for this project. This will be the composer's 100th musical endeavor. The cinematography for Parasakthi will be handled by Ravi Chandran.
