Parambrata Chatterjee’s film Ajob Karkhana will be released in Dhaka soon. His look in the film was released two years back, but the film release was stalled due to some unknown reasons. However, the film will at last be released on July 12. Parambrata went to Dhaka amid his busy schedule and talked about his love for Bangladesh to the media. The film’s trailer was dropped on Sunday.

Director of the film Shabnam Ferdousi announced the release date in that press conference. Parambrata went to Dhaka on Thursday for the film’s promotion. It was his birthday also. Billed as a musical, the film delves into the assimilation of rock music with Bangladesh’s traditional folk music.

This was the first time when Parambrata spent his birthday in Dhaka. The actor is known to maintain a work-life balance. However, he has no regrets about spending the day in Bangladesh since he considers Dhaka as his own city. In the press conference in a club, the actor said, “I could not find any other free day except my birthday. Coming here is also crucial for the film’s promotion. Ajob Karkhana is a film close to my heart. I thought that if I had to spend my birthday outside Kolkata, Dhaka would be the best city. This city has a special connection with me.”

Samia Zaman produced the film. Dilruba Doyel, Shabnaz Sadia Emi, Khalid Hasan Rumi, Helim Boyati, Dilu Boyati, and Kitab Ali are in other important roles. There are five songs in the film, four of which are taken from Helal Hafiz’s poem.
