The film revolves around a young Indian couple celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary by travelling to crisis-ridden Sri Lanka. But when they are unintentionally robbed, the arguments get more heated and reveal cracks in their relationship, which highlights the socioeconomic situation in the country causing tensions among people.
Prasanna Vithanage skilfully portrays the social and humanitarian issues of his hometown with a deft script and powerful performances that are sure to challenge one's ideas about the value of human life in this film. Using a well-written screenplay, the director deftly explores these problems through the eyes of a young couple who are visiting the nation at the time of their vacation.
