Prime Video announces Panchayat season 4 release date
On April 3, Prime Video took to Instagram to unveil a video featuring social media influencers such as Bhupendra Jogi and Darshan Magdum, announcing the arrival of Season 4. In the clip, actress Gia Manek, renowned for her role as Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, humorously washed books while claiming that Panchayat deserves credit for numerous memes circulating online. She also critiqued the meme, “Ek-ek chai hojaaye (Shall we have tea together?)”, remarking, "It's merely a phrase."
Following this, Jitendra Kumar stated, "The internet seeks a meme that can go viral globally. Instead of chasing virality, focus on creating memorable moments." He then transitioned from his character Abhishek to Jeetu Bhai from Kota Factory, posing the question, "Panchayat has turned five; where do you envision yourself in five years?" He subsequently announced that the new season of Panchayat will be released this year. Gia then inquired, "If it's coming this year, can we enjoy green tea while sitting on a tank?" However, Jitendra hurried away without answering her. The video concluded with the announcement that the show is set to premiere on July 2.
