The trailer for the upcoming Malayalam movie Paalum Pazhavum was released today (August 9), a few days before its theatrical debut on August 23. The hilarious plot and the main characters, played by Aswin Jose and Meera Jasmine, are teased in the trailer.

The main characters, Sumi and Sunil, who met on Facebook, are depicted in the two minutes and twenty second film. While Sunil is a carefree college student who is frequently made fun of by his parents for being naive and immature about life, Sumi is a 33-year-old woman looking for a career and a life partner. He is seen making the decision to locate a girl who is settled and will lead a happy life. Overall, it is evident that the two have not met in person, and when they do, a hilarious series of events unfolds as their families are unwilling to accept them.

August has a tonne of exciting Malayalam films coming out, with several of them making their theatrical release on 23 August. This date will be the big screen debut of Bharathanatyam, Saiju Kurup's debut production. On the same day, Bhavana's horror thriller H unt and Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor, starring Indrajith Sukumaran, will be released.

Under the banner of 2 Creative Minds, Sameer Sait and Vinod Unnithan are financing this film, which is being directed by V K Prakash. Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Shanthi Krishna have important parts in this film. Rachana Narayanankutty, RJ Sooraj, Nisha Sarang, Sumesh Chandran, Adil Ibrahim, Shinu Shyamalan, Thushara, Vineeth Ramachandran, Big Boss fame, and Atul Ram Kumar are among the supporting cast members of Paalum Pazhavum.

After a brief hiatus, Meera Jasmine returned to Mollywood in Sathyan Anthikkad's 2022 film Makal, starring Jayaram and Devika Sanjay. Queen Elizabeth, in which she starred opposite Narain, was her most recent theatrical release. Zee5 is now offering the movie for streaming.
