The release date of Oru Jaathi Jathakam, an upcoming comedy entertainer that is the third collaboration of director M Mohanan and Vineeth Sreenivasan, has been revealed by the film's makers. The film will hit the big screens on August 22. A trailer of the movie is expected in the coming days.
Plot of Oru Jaathi Jaathakam
The 50-second teaser for Oru Jaathi Jathakam opens with a shot of Vineeth Sreenivasan's character, Jayesh, the main character, speaking with Nikhila Vimal's character. Jayesh gladly agrees to show his hand when the girl, who is purportedly an expert in palmistry, asks him to do so. She surprises him, though, when she says he's going to have the most awful period of his life.
The anonymous girl goes on to say that he will receive a lot of ridicules from people in his life and that he will ultimately cause a lot of chaos. She also cautions him later on that the true enemy is within. In addition, a string of tumultuous incidents in Jayesh's life are shown to the audience, implying that the girl's statements are accurate. Many young women that he encounters also play important roles in all that occurs in his life.
We have to admit that the actor-director's amusing reactions in the teaser have us thinking of his father and renowned actor, Sreenivasan. The character played by Nikhila Vimal appears to be equally captivating, and the few glimpses we have of the talented supporting cast indicate that Oru Jaathi Jathakam will be a fun ride in theatres.
