The release date of Vineeth Sreenivasan's Oru Jaathi Jathakam has been postponed by the film's makers. The film, which was slated to hit the big screens on August 22, will now be released in September. Further details, including a theatrical debut date, are expected in the coming days.

Release of Oru Jaathi Jathakam postponed

The movie's creators revealed a new poster announcing that September is when it will be released in theatres. The fact that four other films are being released on August 23 is presumably the reason for the postponement of the film's release date. In the meantime, fans of the actor are anticipating that Oru Jaathi Jathakam will be released on the big screen around Onam. A number of movies, including Tovino Thomas' Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Asif Ali-starrer Kishkindha Kaandam, and Antony Varghese Pepe's Kondal, will have a theatrical premiere during this festival.

Plot of Vineeth Sreenivasan's Oru Jaathi Jaathakam

The protagonist of Oru Jaathi Jathakam, Jayesh, is seen interacting with Nikhila Vimal's character in the teaser. When the girl, who is supposedly an expert in palmistry, requests Jayesh to display his hand, he eagerly obliges. But when she tells him that this will be the worst time of his life, it surprises him.

The unnamed girl continues by predicting that he will be ridiculed by many in his life and that he will ultimately create a great deal of trouble. Later on, she warns him once more that the real danger is within. Furthermore, the spectator is shown a series of turbulent events in Jayesh's life, suggesting that the girl's claims are true. Numerous young women he meets also have significant roles in everything that goes on in his life. From what we have seen so far of the excellent supporting cast, Oru Jaathi Jathakam looks like a fun movie to see in theatres.

Among the pivotal stars in Oru Jaathi Jaathakam are Kayadu Lohar, Amal Thaha, Indu Thampi, Rejitha Madhu, Chippy Devassy, Pooja Mohanraj, Varsha Ramesh, Babu Antony, P P Kunhikrishnan, Mridul Nair, Vidhu Prathap, Sayanora Philip, Haritha Parokkod, Shaun Romy, Nirmal Palazhi, Vijayakrishnan, and Aishwarya Midhun Koroth.
