The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam, have released its first poster today (October 5). Shine Tom Chacko plays the main character in the film, which was written and directed by M A Nishad. The first poster's release suggests that the makers of the movie intend to release it in theatres shortly. In the upcoming days, a precise release date is anticipated.

It is pretty clear from the most current poster that Shine is playing missing person Jeevan Thomas, which is an investigative thriller. This story was inspired by notes that MA Nishad's father, senior police officer P M Kunhimoideen, made in his diary about a case while he was employed with the department. The film is therefore based on true occurrences.

The ensemble cast of Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam includes Vani Vishwanath, Samudrakani, Mukesh, Ashokan, Baiju Santhosh, Sudheesh, Sivada, Durga Krishna, Manju Pillai, Swasika, Anumol, Prashant Alexander, Johnny Antony, Vijay Babu, Jafar Idukki, Kottayam Naseer, Kailash, Biju Sopanam, Kalabhavan Shajon, Saikumar, Johnny Anthony, P Sreekumar, Shyamaprasad, Babu Namboothiri. 

Along with others, Director M A Nishad is also appearing in a prominent role. Iyer in Arabia is the previous film directed by M A Nishad. It starred Dhyan Sreenivasan, Mukesh, and Urvashi in key roles. The movie's performance at the box office was poor.

For Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam, M Jayachandran composed the music, while Vivek Menon is the director of photography. Produced by KV Abdul Nasser under the Benzi Productions' banner, this investigative thriller was shot in Bombay, Hyderabad, Vagamon, Kuttikanam, and Kottayam. 

Shine Tom Chacko's films in 2024

The actor most recently starred in Jr. NTR's multilingual flick Devara, which was released on September 27. Thaanara, his most recent Malayalam film, was not very well received in cinemas. He will play a lead role in Pathimoonnam Rathri, which is slated to hit the big screen in October. He will appear in Mammootty-starrer Bazooka as well.
