Actor Vemal stars in his second web series, Om Kali Jai Kali, following his previous project, Vilangu. The series has officially launched on JioHotstar, with all five episodes released simultaneously. Viewers can enjoy the series in various languages, complete with English subtitles.

It was previously announced that a Tamil web series named Om Kali Jai Kali is currently in production, featuring actor Vemal in the leading role. The series is now available on JioHotstar and can be viewed in seven different languages.

The action thriller is set in 1995 and is a tale of revenge, loyalty and redemption, set against the backdrop of Dussehra festival in rural Tamil Nadu. The series will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali and Marathi languages along with English subtitles. Om Kali Jai Kali consists of five episodes, each running for about 30-50 minutes each.

Written and directed by filmmaker Ramu Chellappa, Om Kali Jai Kali is produced by Jegan Baskaran under the banner Box Office Studio. The technical crew consists of Rajesh Shukla cranking the camera and Praveen KL in charge of edits. Karthik Raja has scored the music and Crawford is the production designer. The screenplay is penned by Ramu Chellappa and Kumaravel. Besides Vemal, the series also stars Pavani Reddy of Bigg Boss fame, Pugazh, Ganja Karuppu and others in important roles.

Om Kali Jai Kali represents actor Vemal's second web series following Vilangu. This crime thriller is currently available for streaming on the OTTplay Premium app at promotional rates. Vilangu has received critical acclaim for its production and screenplay, directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, who is now working on a film featuring actor Soori. The series consists of seven episodes and also features Ineya, Bala Saravanan, and Munishkanth. The plot centers on a police investigation into three consecutive crimes.
