Disney+ Hotstar is set to launch a new web series titled Office, following the success of series such as Uppu Puli Kaaram and Heartbeat. A recent promotional video for the show was shared on social media. The promo opens with a woman from a nearby village visiting the Tahsildar's office to obtain a voter identity card. However, due to her traditional background, she declines to mention her husband's name. This leads to a series of comedic events as the office staff attempts to uncover her husband's name without her directly revealing it. The situation escalates amusingly when she resorts to sign language to convey the name, culminating in a delightfully humorous twist.

Cast and crew of Office

The forthcoming comedy series is produced by Jegannath and helmed by director Kabeez. It will showcase a blend of both emerging and well-known actors, many of whom have previously appeared in the Heart Beat web series. The ensemble cast features Guru Lakshman Sabarish, Smeha, Keerthivel, Kemy, Paranthaman, Thamizvani, Sarithiran, Shiva Aravind, Prankster Raghu, and TSR. The narrative will focus on the daily occurrences within a Tahsildar’s office situated in a charming, vibrant village. The series is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar starting February 21.

Disney+ Hotstar has been consistently producing long-format Tamil content for some time. Notable series such as Heart Beat, Uppu Puli Kaaram, and Kana Kanum Kalangal have been launched, alongside limited series like Goli Soda Rising, Parachute, and Chutney Sambar.
